Sierra City House

Nestled at the base of the scenic Sierra Buttes in the small town of Sierra City, this house has a small brook that runs year-round past the large hardwood deck. It has a stone fireplace, 100-year-old rock terrace walls and is about two blocks from the heart of town.

You can leave from the deck for hiking, mountain biking or to make your way to the North Yuba River for flyfishing, gold panning or a swim in its cool waters.

 

A short drive will take you to trailheads for about 100 lakes or to golfing in nearby Gray Eagle.

This three-bedroom, 1.5 bath vacation house sleeps six comfortably. The house rents for $175 a night plus 10 percent bed tax and a one-time $75 cleaning fee.

Two-day minimum rental September though June.

Holidays and peak season months of July and August require three days minimum rental on reservations made more than a month in advance.

Discounts available for rentals of four days or more.

$100 damage deposit required to be refunded immediately after cleaning.

Holiday rates are $195 a night plus bed tax and cleaning.

 

It is fully furnished with three queen beds, linens, a kitchen stocked with cooking and dining ware. It has a dvd and video player for watching movies
